Student Motivation: Share your Motivational Strategies

There are several strategies I am using in my class this year to motivate my students. One of the most recent tactics is a progress chart. I have three math classes. I pick a concept and give the students a quick quiz each day until each child masters the skill. I record the class percentage on the door. I have been noticing that the students look at there class percentage on the door each day and have started working with their classmates to learn the skill.
